Dr. Melissa Camouse
Dr. Melissa Camouse is a board-certified dermatologist who provides comprehensive care of skin, hair and nails to patients of all ages. She received her dermatologic training from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to her residency training, she also completed a research fellowship in cutaneous photobiology at Case Western. There, she focused on the effects of ultraviolet radiation on human skin. She published numerous articles on this subject and researched topical antioxidant serums and sunscreens in conjunction with Neutrogena, Estée Lauder, Clinique, and Origins. Her expertise in these areas has proved to be a valuable asset to practicing dermatology in sunny southern California.

Dr. Camouse has been practicing dermatology in California since 2007. She resides in the South Bay with her husband, Dr. Ke, and three children. A native Midwesterner, Dr. Camouse enjoys the year-round temperate weather and promotes healthy sun habits to protect the skin without compromising a healthy outdoor lifestyle. She is passionate about skin cancer prevention and early detection through patient education and regular skin exams.
Dr. Miguel A. Gutierrez
Dr. Gutierrez is a Board Certified Dermatologist and specializes primarily in medical and general dermatology.
Dr. Gutierrez grew up in San Diego, CA. He completed his undergraduate studies and medical school training at UCLA. Upon completing his medical degree, Dr. Gutierrez devoted his internship year at the King/Drew Medical Center. Subsequently, Dr. Gutierrez completed his Dermatology Residency training at Harvard Medical School. While in Boston, Dr. Gutierrez was able to refine his dermatology knowledge and expertise at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Boston Children’s Hospital.
After residency, Dr. Gutierrez was recruited to return to Southern California and he joined the faculty at the Division of Dermatology at UCLA. His academic position as an Assistant Clinical Professor, allowed him to balance his expertise in clinical care with the teaching and training of residents and students. During his time at UCLA, Dr. Gutierrez continued his pursuit of academic excellence by contributing several publications to the dermatology literature.

Since 2010, Dr. Gutierrez relocated and has focused his clinical practice to providing the highest dermatologic care to the local beach communities of Palos Verdes, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach. During this time, Dr. Gutierrez continued to be an active Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Gutierrez is now redefining his involvement in the South Bay region. We are very excited to provide our patients with access to an exceptional associate, with extensive clinical expertise from America’s most prestigious institutions of Harvard and UCLA. Dr. Malcolm Ke
Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Ke received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed his internship in general surgery at the University of California, San Francisco East Bay Program. Prior to starting his dermatology residency, he received a National Institutes of Health Research Scientist Award to study cutaneous lymphoma and photodynamic therapy at Case Western Reserve University, where he completed research fellowships in both Investigative and Molecular Dermatology as well as Cutaneous Oncology with an emphasis in melanoma and lymphoma. He then completed his dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University. A Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Ke also completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Lasers, and Cosmetic Dermatology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a Fellow in the American College of Mohs Surgery and performs approximately 1500 skin cancer surgical cases annually for the past ten years.
Before moving back to California, Dr. Ke served as the Director of the Skin Surgery, Laser, and Aesthetic Center of Case Western Reserve University. Currently an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Ke enjoys volunteering at the VA teaching the principles of Mohs surgery and advanced facial reconstruction to the dermatology residents and fellows.

Dr. Ke also serves on several scientific advisory boards for new cancer and laser therapies and on the editorial board for Dermatologic Surgery, the official publication for the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the Journal of Cosmetic and Laser Therapy, the official publication of the International Society of Cutaneous and Laser Surgery.
Dr. Ke resides in the south bay with his wife, Dr. Camouse, and their three children. He enjoys spending quality time with his family including going to the beach, playing tennis, golf, and guitar, and enjoying good food!
